Easter 2019

As we celebrated Easter Sunday yesterday, I reflected on how it's message has impacted my life this past year. I believe in Jesus Christ. I believe that because of Him, death is not the end, peace and love will conquer fear and hate, and all that is broken can become whole again. For the past 5 months, I have been on a path of healing, recovery, and change. Hard change. Good change. 

I will share more about my journey at a later time, but for now I feel inspired to share this- Christ changes people from the inside out. I am witnessing that more than I ever have before. It's miraculous. It's beautiful. It's painful at times, but exhilirating. 

I recently read this quote: 

"Jesus meets us where we are, as we are, but He doesn't intend to leave us there." 

Because of Him, I have hope for my family, my future, and my faith. Things look bright and that's because He is teaching me how to "see" as I never have before. I'm grateful for Christ. He is my friend, my teacher, my ally, and my Savior. Because of Him, I can change. Because of Him, I can be whole.

My mom has created a beloved tradition called "Grammy Bunny". The Saturday before Easter, she hosted the children at my Great Grandma's house for a magical afternoon of treasure maps, hidden eggs, games, and gifts. Check out our latest video!
